Mercredi, j'ai ressorti pour la première fois ma machine à coudre, un peu anxieuse, après les résultats de mon premier essai. En regardant l'aiguille, j'ai trouvé qu'elle n'était pas dans l'axe. Je consulte le guide, et là je vois qu'en fait elle était à l'envers sur la machine!! J'appelle tout de suite ma mère, et elle me confirme: que, oui, on a démonté l'aiguille pour voir comment faire, et, oui, elle était déjà à l'envers quand on a déballé la machine. Grrrr. Heureusement que j'ai regardé la notice, j'aurais pu m'énerver longtemps sur cette machine.
Et depuis, Ô miracle, la couture est parfaite, mon fil n'a pas cassé une fois, et aucune maille n'est sautée. J'ai enfin pu finir en un temps record tous mes sacs granny qui attendaient leur doublure (et surtout j'ai retrouvé le moral). Plus rien ne peut maintenant m'arrêter!!!
On wednesday, I got my sewing machine out, a little anxious after my first attempt and the not-so-good results. When I looked at the needle, I noticed that it wasn't straight. I looked at the manual, and there I see that the needle is backwards on the machine!! I called my mom straight away, and she confirmed: that, yes, we unscrewed the needle to see how to do it, and, yes, it was already backwards when we unpacked the machine. Grrrr. Thank god, I've looked at the manual; I could have used up my nerves for a long time on this machine.
And since then, miracle, the sewing is perfect, my thread never broke, and no point was missed out. I finally could finish up, in a record time, all my granny bags waiting for a lining (and most of all I cheered up). Nothing can stop me now!!!
