J'ai commencé une broderie pendant mes vacances. J'avais commencé à vous en parler ici, et aujourd'hui, je suis fière de vous annoncer que je l'ai terminée!! Les travaux d'aiguille ne sont pas ma passion, et cela ne m'a pas donné envie d'en refaire une tout de suite, mais j'adore le rendu final. 

Seul petit problème à régler maintenant, comment l'accrocher au mur? Je trouve dommage de l'accrocher avec un sous-verre, car cela l'aplatirait trop. Peut-être la coller sur un support que je fixerais au mur? J'aurais peur de gâcher l'arrière de mon travail. Cela demande de la réflexion... ou votre aide!

I've started an embroidery during my holiday. I started talking about it here, and today I am very proud to annouce that I finished it!! Needleworks aren't my cup of tea, and it didn't make we want to start another one right away, but I LOVE the final result.

Only problem to solve now: how to hang it on the wall? I think it would be a pity to put it under a glass, as it would squash it a little. Maybe glue it to a base that I would hang? I would be afraid to spoil the back of my work. It needs some thinking... or your help!

Kokeshi

Je pourrais en faire des milliers, et elles seraient toutes différentes. Le modèle est très simple, et pourquoi pas s'éloigner un peu du thème pour s'amuser un peu. Je vous présente donc mes kokechon et kokechat!!

Je suis partie du modèle de kokeshi trouvé sur ce site en espagnol. Comme le modèle est très simple, même si c'est en espagnol, on s'y retrouve facilement. 

I could make thousands of them, and they would all be different. The patters is very simple. And why not take it a little further away, to have fun a litlle. So I present to you my kokepig and kokecat!!

I've used the kokeshi pattern found on this spanish website. The pattern is very simple, so even though it's in Spanish you can easily figure it out.  

Pour mon cochon et mon chat, voilà le modèle:

For my pig and cat, the pattern in english is a little further down.

Corps:

Rang 1: faire 6 ms dans un anneau magique
Rang 2: 2 ms dans chaque maille (12)

Rang 3: *2 ms dans la prochaine maille, 1 ms*. Répéter de * à *(18)
Rang 4: *2 ms dans la prochaine maille, 1 ms, 1 ms*. Répéter de * à *(24)
Rang 5 : 1 ms dans chaque maille du rang précédent, dans la boucle arrière uniquement (24)
Rangs 6 à 8: 1 ms dans chaque maille du rang précédent (24)
Rang 9: *1 diminution, 1 ms, 1 ms*. Répéter de * à *(18)

-          Faire 2 rangs

-          1 diminution

-          1 ms

Plier le coin supérieur de votre triangle vers le côté droit ou gauche de la base quand vous coudrez l’oreille sur la tête.

Start with 4 chains

Starting from 2nd chain from hook, make 3 sc. From now on, you have to make 1 chain then turn between each row.

-          1 sc

Fold the top of your triangle towards the lower left or right corner of the base, then sew on the head.

Cat ears:
